Anyone wanting specifically a Northern Ireland card needs to make sure they state this to any vendors they may be dealing with.
The main differences are:
No Union Jack Flag, because of the political tensions in Northern Ireland
No coat of arms under the flag for similar reasons
Different licence number format
Address layout completely different
Different issuing bodies, DVA for Northern Ireland, DVLA for the rest of the UK
the rest of the details on the cards are identical to each other.
