Looks like I need to buy a new one

Been using my god since January. Raised text on one scratched off a couple months ago so I've been using the duplicate since then. Had a look just now and the little raised text in the bottom corner starting to scratch off. Pretty pissed off cause I need id for another 10 months and I'd rather not have to keep buying more. Any advice on how to stop it scratching off?
