Do citizencards now work at clubs and bars?
I was reading up on them and I know back a few years ago not a lot of places accepted them.
Do they have to accept these by law now?

Venues don't need to accept them by law and it all comes down to the venues policy.

Lots of clubs generally understand the PASS scheme and will accept the cards although it is recommended you contact them and ask before going out to be sure. Some bars might be wary if they have never seen one before and may reject the card or require you to explain the card before they accept it. Big supermarkets should accept the cards without much trouble but sometimes you get employees that again are wary if they have never seen one before.

A useful tip is if you are ever in a situation where you need to explain the card, look around for the challenge 25 posters. These posters prove the authenticity of the PASS hologram.
Do you think its worth it?
