He is discouraging it because all your addresses change frequently so if you did fuck up you can’t get your money back. Basically just don’t fuck up and use it

This simply isn't true.
The issue was with zcash, other currencies are fine to use with jaxx.
The issue with zcash is in fact still not known.
Ah right cheers. Guess i will be ordering then.
